Pet of the Week: Take Bentley home during Adopt-A-Dog Month

Bentley is the adoptable Pet of the Week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society in Encinitas. He’s a 7 month old, 9 pound, neutered, male, Yorkshire Terrier mix.

Bentley was surrendered to Rancho Coastal Humane Society when his family realized that they didn’t have the time it takes to provide proper care and training for a happy, active puppy.

Bentley’s a sweet little puppy, whowill need lots of attention, training, and is still learning how to play with other dogs. If you’re thinking about adopting little Bentley, or any dog, remember that pet ownership is a big responsibility and a lifetime commitment, but that your time and efforts will be rewarded with lots of love.

Pet of the Week: Tiger Lily and Cosmo

This week’s adoptable pet of the week at the Burbank Animal Shelter is little Tiger Lily. She’s as sweet and quiet as her namesake from Peter Pan. Tiger Lily is a lovely Chihuahua-Terrier mix, and at seven years old, she’s calm, friendly and qualifies for the Senior for Seniors program at Burbank Animal Shelter. Tiger Lily is fond of people and other dogs.

Cosmo is the adoptable Pet of the Week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society in Encinitas. He’s a 5 1/2 year old, 13 pound, neutered, male, domestic short hair buff kitty.

Cosmo was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society from an overcrowded animal shelter via the Friends of County Animal Shelters program. Cosmo is a big, friendly, mellow guy who enjoys spending his time laying by people’s side and getting lots of love. He is also great around other feline friends!

If you’re thinking about adopting Cosmo, or any cat, remember that pet ownership is a big responsibility, but the hard work always pays off with unconditional love.
