Adopt pet of the week, Jacket!
Nobody wants to start the new year behind bars. If you’ve been thinking about getting a cat, then you should consider adopting Jacket, one of the Pets of the Week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society . He’s a 4 year old, neutered, male, 12 pound, Siamese – Blue Point Cat.

Jacket was surrendered to the Rancho Coastal Humane Society after being abandoned by his original family. He’s definitely got the perfect “cattitude” – he’s independent and ow-maintenance. JAcket gets along great with everybody he meets, including friendly dogs. At 12 pounds, he’s a big kitty, but not huge. He’s still the perfect size to sit on your lap so he can look out the window while you scratch him behind his ears.

Jacket’s waiting at the Rancho Coastal Humane Society in Encinitas, ready to begin the new year and his new life, in his new home, with his new family.

Adopt pet of the week ,Koa!
Nobody wants to wake up behind bars on New Year’s Day. That includes Koa, one of the Pets of the Week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. He’s a 1 1/2 year old, 88 pound, neutered, male, German Shepherd mix.

Koa was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through the FOCAS program. He’s a happy, enthusiastic dog that will love you for the rest of his life. He can make himself at home almost anywhere. Koa is a big dog that loves going for walks and experiencing new adventures. He gets along great with kids of all ages, but his exuberance might be a bit too much for smaller children. He’s much better suited for bigger kids and adults.
