Hammie is the newest pet of the week at the Burbank Animal Shelter and you’re going to love this guy. Hammie is a 4 year old Chihuahua who is a very friendly little chap. He would love to be a part of your family, whether you already have a dog or not, he’ll get along very well. He loves to cuddle and is very affectionate with a super mellow personality. He would be best suited with a family of adult or older children. Take a trip to the Burbank Animal Shelter and meet Hammie (ID A047054), and take this little guy home!

Scrabble is the adoptable Pet of the Week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society in Encinitas. He’s a 10 week old, 15 pound, English Shepherd-mix puppy. Scrabble looks like a little fuzz ball now, but keep in mind that he’s going to grow up to be a big dog, maybe 60 pounds or more.
Scrabble was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society from another animal shelter through the FOCAS program. With Scrabble, or any other puppy, you’ll need to spend plenty of time with him, and shower him with lots of attention. Also, it’s never too soon to start basic puppy training. You should also know that he’s a friendly, outgoing puppy, and is going to be a dog that wants to be involved in whatever you’re doing.
If you’re thinking about adding a pet to your family this holiday season, start by meeting Scrabble. Just be prepared. He has one of the cutest puppy faces ever!
