Pet of the Week: Tuffie and Chowder
Today’s Pet of the Week from PennySaverUSA.com is about Tuffie and Chowder, who are just waiting for a great family to adopt, and take them home!

Here’s a cutie who needs a family! Tough guy? Not tough to love. Meet Tuffie, a 6 month old gray tabby who is just beginning the road to his wonderful life. He was transferred to the Burbank Animal Shelter‘s fabulous foster program for a while, which allows animals who need a little more attention to be brought up to be happy and adoptable! He’s such a social butterfly now, who tries to act tough, but pick him up and let the purring begin!
Tuffie’s a little timid at first, and is probably not a good candidate in a household with small children, but he would love to be your new best friend… so come on down to the shelter and meet Tuffie (ID A046253), and see how tough it will be to resist taking him home!

Chowder is the adoptable Pet of the Week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society in Encinitas. He’s a 3 year old, 70 pound German Shepherd / Chow chow mix. This is a really great dog who needs an active family that will include him in everything they do. While he may enjoy a nap in the living room, Chowder is far from a couch potato.
Chowder was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society from a pet rescue group in Texas through the FOCAS program. That may explain why his personality is as big as Texas! He loves people, other dogs, and of course his dog toys. Chowder is always ready for a game of tug of war, and before he goes to bed at night, he really enjoys a nice rawhide chew as a late-night snack.
Just one more thing you need to know…Yes, his left ear always flops down like that.
