This week’s adoptable pet of the week at the Burbank Animal Shelter is Mocha. Mocha is a terrific cat with a big attitude. she has her own ideas about what’s right and wrong, and she will let you know if you’re wrong! She is very independent but does have a soft spot once she gets to know you, and will love all the attention you can give her. Mocha will likely be the dominant pet in your household, but does get along with dogs and other cats. However, young children are probably not the best match for her.

Sally was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society through the Friends of County Animal Shelters program. When it comes to being a kitten, Sally is enjoying every minute of it! She is very playful and loves attention. She loves burrowing under her blankets and chasing toy balls around the room. She’s a normal, happy, active kitten, but what sets little Sally apart from other kittens is the color of her fur coat. Almost all buff-colored Tabbies are male.
