Pet of the Week: Mystique is Looking for Her Furrytale Ending Like Penny

This Pet of the Week is one for the fairytale books, starting with a story about a magical kitty named Mystique (pictured right) who’s searching for her forever family to rescue her.

In the land of Oceanside, there once lived a princess who was not only lovely but had a loving soul, as well. Mystique was her name, but in spite of her wonderful personality and natural beauty, for far too long she had found herself without a family of her own.

As part of the San Diego Humane Society and SPCA‘s Meow Madness adoption campaign during the month of June, they hope to bring some “Furrytale Endings” to their beloved kitties by waiving the fee for any who have been in their care for over 90 days, or who are 7 years or older. 8-year-old, domestic short hair Mystique’s adoption fee of $0 includes her spay, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, and a certificate for a free veterinary exam!

“Penny is a sweet, loveable, caring, and lazy Rottweiler. Her 3rd birthday was this past May. She spent the whole day with her two other siblings Princess and Paige. We got Penny when she was about 3 months old. At first we thought there was something wrong with her, since she was always sleeping and laying around; but as she grew older, we realized she was just a lazy dog.”
