“Favorite Teachers” online contest winner announcement

The voting for the “Favorite Teachers” online contest came down to the wire and was extremely close.

In the end, No. 5 was barely able to hold off a furious rally from No. 4 and emerge victorious.

Finalist #5 wins the $250 prize from our "Favorite Teachers" online contest.

The final tally shows how remarkably tight this race was as No. 5 finished with 25 votes, compared to No. 4’s 24 votes.

While No. 5 holds the crown and wins the $250 cash prize, No. 4 and the rest of the finalists deserve credit. The judges waded through over 70 entries to make the very difficult cut-down to five and each of those five would have been worthy winners.

It was a pleasure for all of the judges to read all of the creatively written entries, and we hope all our blog visitors and voters got as much enjoyment from the experience of reading the entries from the finalists as we did.

This online contest might be over, but there is another on the way from that will be announced later this week, and our new daily deal site has an awesome online contest running right now as well.

Just by signing up for the best local daily deals on everyday things like groceries, food, home repair, beauty care and more, you’ll be automatically entered for a chance to win a trip for four to Disneyland! No entry is required; you are eligible just by being a SaverTime member. You can’t beat that.

From all of us here at, we hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend and thanks for entering our online contests.
