There are several great Free Friday deals for free food this week. We’ll start out with an offer for free chicken from Popeye’s. This weekend only, you can get a free 2-piece dinner with the purchase of a 3-piece Bonafide Chicken dinner at participating Popeye’s restaurants. Not a bad way to start out Free Friday.

Next up is an offer for free food from Macaroni Grill. The popular restaurant chain has a coupon for free tapas. You have to “Like” their Facebook page in order to see the coupon. No purchase is required, but you must dine-in and the offer is only available at the bar or patio. Move fast on this one, as it expires tonight.

Also joining the free food bandwagon this Free Friday is Buca di Beppo. The Italian restaurant has a coupon (valid only on Memorial Day) for free small pasta with the order of any large pasta. Sounds scrumptious.

You knew we couldn’t go through this Free Friday before Memorial Day Weekend without highlighting a grill free food item. Star Ranch Angus currently has an offer for a free packet of Real American Steak Rub. All you have to do is complete a short form.

The final free food offer in this week’s Free Friday is for a protein bar … or two, rather. QuestBar will send you a free sample, and take care of the shipping, if you fill out a survey. Zone Perfect, meanwhile, is also handing out free samples of its protein bar, if you “Like” its Facebook page.

Alright, enough with food, onto fun and games! For the rest of May, Dave & Buster’s has a coupon for $10 in free game play. The only thing required is to join their email list.

While Memorial Day Weekend is a fantastic time to pig out and play, it also provides an opportunity to get some of those chores done you’ve been putting off … like washing the car. Enter Ace Hardware. The store has an offer for free car care products (with rebate).

Our finale discount electronics posting in Steals of the Week is a Velodyne CT-100 Subwoofer available in Carlsbad, Ca. It will cost you $175 (or best offer) and is in excellent condition, according to the seller. That’s an outstanding price and is certainly worthy of Steals of the Week inclusion.

The offers range from grand to simple, but they are all pretty sweet. There are so many birthday freebies for  food, that there will be a separate blog post for those on Wednesday.

On the grander side of the birthday freebies comes this offer from Catalina Express. The ship is offering free round-trip travel to those who want to visit Catalina Island in California on their birthday. You must provide ID to show proof of your birthday.

Another pretty exciting birthday freebie comes from Sephora. The beauty care store is offering a complimentary sample of its Philosophy shampoo, shower gel and bubble bath in its Vanilla Cupcake scent.

Not to be outdone, beauty care company Aveda also has a free gift (valued at up to $24) for people who join their birthday program.

Perhaps the most mysterious of the birthday freebies comes from the chain World Market Explorer. You can get a surprise birthday gift for signing up with their rewards program. Famous Footwear has a similar offer for an unknown “special birthday gift” if you sign up for their rewards program.

Walmart has also joined the birthday freebies party. They are offering a free Going In Circles Portrait Collage ($29.99 value) for those celebrating their birthday. Keep in mind, there is a fee for enhancements.

Among the birthday freebies are several for kids. Joining the Kmart birthday club will get your child $5 in Birthday Bucks, a birthday crown and a birthday fun pack with surprise goodies. Signing up for Geoffrey’s Birthday Club with Toys R’ Us will get your child a birthday card and a fun gift. Belonging to the Ace Hardware Kids Club comes with the perk of a “special birthday surprise” at your local Ace store.

Closing out this blog of birthday freebies is a really cool offer from Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Baily Circus. If you have a newborn (up to 12 months), you can sign up for a free ticket voucher – THAT NEVER EXPIRES! How awesome is that? You’ll also get a commemorative certificate.
