All of us here at PennySaverUSA.com hope you had an amazing Mother’s Day and we wanted to give one last thanks to all the moms who read our blog, use our site, fan our Facebook page and follow our Twitter account.
As promised last week, we are devoting a guest blog to some of the people who shared why their mom means so much to them on our Facebook page.

Without further ado, here is our tribute to moms.
From Facebook user Sandy Thompson Nevels:
I love my mom and she’s the best. She’s special, because there is no one else in the world like her. She puts everyone else first and doesn’t take time to care for herself like she should. She would rather have her kids have the very best, while she is content with her old and worn out things (although, I know she would love new things, like carpeting, pots & pans and furniture).
She helps us kids (yes even at my age) whenever possible, with little things like watching my son or giving me a ride when I need one. Although she’s not the best cook, I try to teach her. She makes the best of the worst and gives us her all! There’s no way to pay her back for all that she’s done. But I’ll try!
From Facebook user Befiita Pekiitufiita:
My mom is special because she had five of us and handled us all with patience. Even though not all of her kids paid her back well, she’s still been there for us. I’m now a mom to a baby and due to a medical issue, haven’t been able to get up. While I work through the issue, she’s been like a second mom to my baby, sleeping with her and waking up at 3:30 a.m. to feed her in my place.
My mom is special!!!
From Facebook user Tonie La-Ree Lott:
My mom is a mother of four spoiled grown kids. She did her best to raise us and was always there for me. I was a sick child and my mother never left my side.
Though she didn’t always approve of my choices, I want to mention something amazing about her. A year ago we butted heads and I left her home. I am now five-months pregnant and for the first time I sent her a text asking her to go to a neurologist with me due to some issues I had with my legs.
My mother sat there yesterday with me as they told me I have Multiple Sclerosis. My mother had worked the night before, but stayed with me until she had to go back to work. She spent all day talking to me, before leaving for work. She is going to another doctor appointment with me tomorrow.
Whenever the world has me down, no matter how mad she is at me or I at her, she is always there to protect me from the world’s badness. Without her I would never have graduated high school or gone back to college for my Associates.
God gave me my mother because he knew no other could protect me like her. I pray I can do half for my child as she has for me.
Thanks for the great Facebook posts we received for Mother’s Day. Please leave in the comments how your Mother’s Day went.
